- I miss watching kdrama on and off, it's been some years now, but I stumbled on this show browsing Netflix so I though I'd give it a go. It was pretty cute how Jun-hui had a monster crush on Jin-a from the get go, and all that crushy teasing they had going with each other. It did get a little frustrating at times, but I enjoyed it over all. It had more emotional maturity than some that I've watched, and it didn't rely on miscommunication as a plot device as much as I was afraid it would be based on the first two episodes. It was there though, and I felt like it got worse towards the end of the series when I mose wanted the characters to be learning from their mistakes. Most of the problems seemed to stem from characters hiding things or trying to 'protect' others or just straight up not saying what they meant, but at least it seemed like they were making decisions in line with their character as opposed to stupidity for the sake of drama.
- I liked the employee harassment side plot more than I thought I would as well, though it irritated me a little that we didn't really see what came of it, or if anything came of it at all. I can't tell if it ended up being brushed under the rug. Bo-ra was probably my favourite side character, mostly because she was cool, and for the way she and Jin-a kind of accidentally became best friends. The lone lady supervisor was cool too, in a stern and kind of aloof kind of way, looking out for Jin-a in the background. I liked the take on older woman/age gap relationship, and the way that Jun-hui made her braver and made her grow up and make some choices for herself, even if sometimes those were choices that added to her (and their) problems.
- The last episode didn't really seem to explain or solve anything though. Why did she end up dating another tool over the timeskip? Who was her brother even marrying? Was it some rich girl their mother picked out? How did Bo-ra quit and set up her restaurant?! It was nice seeing them get back together though, forever abrupt it seemed. Maybe I'm just a bit jealous of how easy they made it look in the end. Running away to an island to work in a restaurant with your best friend in the middle of nowhere and then the love of your life turns up? That's the dream, I guess.

- Cute and heartwarming things: Lucille's instacrush on Cyril was peak 'oh no he's hot'. Husband with sympathetic pregnancy not even once mocked or made out to be silly. Young woman diagnosed intersex weeks before her wedding, she calls if off and shreds her dress and tries to kill herself rather than tell anyone, but is saved and finds the courage to tell her fiance who still loves her and wants to be with her anyway. Lucille supports a seventeen year old girl who got pregnant on purpose because she wanted a baby (that she could keep instead of the one taken away when she was fifteen) when her parents promptly disown her. Mother Mildred turning up to help, accidentally offending someone, going back to apologise and ending up being a big support to the docker family.
