amovingtargetGetting Jack back to camp was such a relief, and I know John isn’t exactly in the running for father of the year awards but, him having to listen to Jack gushing about how nice and cool his kidnappers were must have been a punch in the gut.
I also got spotted in the cemetery on that job for Bronte, and there were a million cops after us, but at least now I have so much money I don’t need to worry about paying bounties off myself any more.
I’m morbidly curious about what’s going down between Molly and Dutch, but at least someone is calling him out.
We get to see Arthur is a bow tie and tailcoat, but on the other hand are they seriously planning to rip off Leviticus Cornwall again???
Helping Mary again! A sap and an adorable one. I do love that he doesn’t really stop grumbling about the whole thing though. And then when we went to the theatre, I can make him try to put his arm around her but then he chickens out it’s so. Cute. Although, Rockstar please, if you’re gonna have her comment ‘you could have cleaned yourself up a little’ you could have at least coded in a check for it! I got my hair cut especially! I put on nice clothes, a neck tie even! I cleaned up plenty!!!
He also got dolled up again to play poker I loved it.
Oh no. I really liked Keiran. Mild mannered horse boy did not deserve to go like that. How did Colm get at him anyway. It’s just so unfair.
The sidequest with the fake exotic animals! Except for the last one which was a real fucking lion and almost ate me!!!
So, it turns out we are ripping Cornwall of again, but, I suppose it’s difficult to avoid when his name is on everything. That trolley job was A Mess. The oil plant job was… only slightly less so.
Of course the last job of the chapter was a total clusterfuck. Hosea :( Lenny :( I know John isn’t dead but :(
(I am getting kind of tired of all the riding around I have to do, and also sometimes getting thrown from my horse, and doing chores around camp (and not being able to run around camp to do them faster)
More choices in this chapter?
The guy who kidnapped Tilly - spared, because that’s what Tilly said to do.
Brother Dorkins - told him to keep the money, wtf I just saved these two guys go and feed them with it.
I helped a bunch of criminals by burning their wanted posters - because I said I’d do it, and also who am I, a criminal and a murderer also, to judge.
Poor sunburnt Arthur (Having to walk manually through that initial headstroke haze was annoying as fuck though)

WOW Dutch thinks John and Abigail are the rats??? I can’t even with this guy. And now Arthur’s coughing. This is fine.
The whole island bit was gorgeous and all kinds of awful oh man.
Now that I’m back in Saint Denis and have gotten Arthur a shave...am I just imagining it because I know he’s sick or does he look really pale :(
Ahaha, Arthur just had a coughing fit and collapsed as I was pulling up to meet Sadie in Saint Denis. As someone with a chronic lung condition holy shit did I feel that pain. At least some dragged him to the doctor.
Oh man that whole side quest with Mrs Downes do not seek absolution goddamn broke my heart fuck this game.
But I reached max honour! There’s that!
The section with the Murfee’s in that cave was awful, that’s the only time I skipped a checkpoint this whole game so far. If I play again maybe I will just go for the dynamite next time. What’s the point of letting me think I can try stealthing it if there’s a scripted gunfight anyway grumble grumble.
Poor Molly, and I can’t believe Susan just shot her like that wtf.
