So in the middle of my crying that FF7 isn't out already, I found out that there is a demo and after much flapping around, I played it.

-Jessie: So, you know Tifa, right? It's not really my business, but… are you guys close? -- it's interesting that Cloud has a little mako haze dissociating thing here before he tries to respond…

-Ah, this is an interesting little banter where Barret tries to ask Cloud his age and he responds with his rank, and then he doesn't bite back when Barret teases him… is he just embarrassed… or does he not remember how old he is….
-This Guard Scorpion battle was pretty fun… but I'm gonna miss their little end of encounter flourishes.
-They're saying "shit" in this game, that's a good start. Pls more cussing.
-Oh my gosh. Their bomb wasn't big enough, so Shinra has to explode it themselves!!!
-AH HIS LITTLE SMIRK WHEN JESSIE CALLS HIM COOL :'D
-Oh my that's a spectacular explosion!!!!
-That's the end. The rest is just a preview movie and omg Cloud fights his way through the sector with a lily tucked into his uniform. alskdfjghas this glimpse of Sephiroth!

This was a blinding bright spot in a terrible handful of weeks, and I need it. Wake me up when it's April.
