an update and a meme
Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 07:27 pmEid weekend yay! I can finally go back to drinking water all day long, and sleeping through the night every most days! I'm going to be honest and say that visiting and being visited by extended family is something I'm very happy to not be doing and I'm already enjoying how low-key the prep work is for this Eid, but holy fuck I'm gonna miss my siblings and niblings so bad.
I've had some bad days these last two weeks and some better ones (I hope I'm not imagining a little trend towards better) and I'm pretty happy with the way I spent this week -- mostly prepping my Eid outfit and doing a little bit of baking, trying to play a (modded) Caesar 3 again, nibbling on a few slightly more productive things when I felt like it, and starting to think a bit more seriously about getting back into writing. It's still a really scary thought, but maybe I'm starting to miss writing more than I feel afraid to actually do it.
